Home Games
– A decision will be made no later than 7:30am on the day and coaches will be informed by the Junior Coordinator (or Committee member) if it is closed. Coaches will need to contact their team to let them know.
New Brighton Oval is often the only local field open.
With great drainage, closures will be rare.

Away Games – The wet weather person from the away ground will make the decision and coaches may be informed by the Junior Coordinator (or Committee member). Coaches will need to contact their team to let them know.

Away game – club websites or Facebook pages.

If you find out a field is closed before you have been informed by Shores, let the Junior Coordinator or a committee member know!

Always check the fixtures website the day before and just before leaving on the day – as venues and times can change – and cancellations (due to field closure or forfeit) may be listed if they happened the day before a game.
